Lowering the weight of internal engine parts while maintaining their strength is critical in building a high horsepower motor.  Scat Enterprises understands the weight/strength dilemma, and used their 40 years of designing, manufacturing and innovating to develop a lightweight rod that can meet the high horsepower demands of today’s engines. 



Scat’s 4340 Forged I-beam Rods with 7/16” Cap Screw Bolts incorporate many high strength features from the H-Beam design.  Made from a 20% stronger two-piece forging and using a one ribbed cap design creates a much stronger rod without the added weight.  Scat uses a dowelled cap to align the massive 7/16” high tensile cap screws for a precise fit and to ensure quality all of Scat’s rod are machined and finish honed to exact tolerances in the U.S.A.  For more details contact Scat Enterprises at (310)370-5501 or on the web www.scatenterprises.com.
