1955 Chevy 210

Hot Rod Network shared Kevin Martins’s 1955 Chevy 210 which includes a SCAT crankshaft. Kevin wanted to preserve the originality of his car but had Reids Automotive Engineering in Whitman, Massachusetts work on upgrades under the hood. A mix of new and old-school hardware was used including a 434-cubic-inch Dart block as the base.

Power moves rearward through a Tremec TKO five-speed with a Centerforce clutch and pressure plate to an American Powertrain driveshaft and is good for 580 hp at the rear wheels on the dyno.

From Kevin:

I am completely satisfied with how it turned out. It has been built without any compromises, and I wouldn’t change a thing on it.
