We may be biased, but Tom Lieb’s 1929 Ford Roadster is one of our favorite builds. He bought this car in 1958 and started collecting parts so he could one day finish his dream hot rod. He brought it to Pete Chapouris at So-Cal Speed Shop in 2007 for its first build under the watchful eye of Jimmy Shine. The car was then “freshened up” in 2016 at Shine Speedshop to compete for A.M.B.R.
This is an original 1929 Ford body on So-Cal perimeter chassis heavily modified for period part application. Cab stretched 3″ engine is 1949 59-AB with a SCAT 4.125″ crank, Edelbrock intake and heads, and much more.
