David Vizard shared a video that featured his recommendation for SCAT connecting rods.

He mentions that a six-inch SCAT connecting rod is desirable for lower compression engines, especially when using hypertonic pistons, because there is slightly more horsepower caused by less piston side loading with less friction involved.  Also, Vizard suggests that if you want your engine to sound nice, a SCAT connecting rod will cut down piston slap noise. Plus, it comes with a bushed pin end, which allows for pistons to be installed and removed much easier.
