Bring a Trailer shared this 1965 Ford Mustang that was auctioned on their site. The modified Mustang Fastback 5-Speed was refurbished in the style of a GT350 and was used for open track events in California.
This awesome ride is powered by a 363ci Windsor V8 fitted with World Products iron cylinder heads, a SCAT forged internal reciprocating assembly, Bullet solid-lifter cam, MSD ignition and a Holley 650-Cfm carburetor on an Edelbrock manifold. Power is sent to the rear wheels using a Tremec T5 five-speed manual transmission and an eight-inch rear end upgraded with a Detroit Locker, Moser axles and 3.79 gears.
Originally finished in Raven Black, the body was repainted blue with white stripes and GT350-style graphics by a previous owner. A GT350-style front apron, hood pins, a hood scoop, louvered quarter vents and side scoops are other exterior upgrades.
