Hughes Performance shared this 1966 Chevelle 4-door sedan from Stefan Rossi of ACE Racing Engines. Stefan came across this survivor hot rod and knew he wanted to make it a high-HP turbo LS small tire street car build.
This 1966 Chevelle is packing quite the punch with help from LC9-based 5.3 featuring premium forged rotating components from SCAT Crankshafts. A pair of Trick Flow Specialties 220cc cylinder heads specially prepared by Stefan tops off the engine along with a trans brake-equipped TH400 transmission featuring a Hughes Transmissions Pro Series single-stage torque converter dump valve systems. A Quick Performance Ford 9-inch rear axle will handle everything the 5.3 can dish out at 8,000+ RPM.
